This project was to design a residence for a Gujarati family settled in Udaipur, Rajasthan that negotiated and reconciled the diverse cultural contexts. While the spatial quality referred to the Gujarati lifestyle, the formal expression was resultant of the climatic factors, local materials & construction methods as well as interpretation of the traditional elements.
